Netflix is taking further steps to kill their DVD service by separating disc and streaming into individual $7.99 price points. Starting September 1st if you want both streaming and a disc a month it’s going to cost you $15.98.

My subscription is going up about $5.00 a month, but the service will still be worth it for me, as I watch a film on instant watch just about every night… and that’s not counting the DVDs I get, either…

really? god damnit netflix.
